A great success for the buyers of heifers sold through the sales of Eurogenes & DG. Since the start of genomics almost 30.000 animals have been tested in Europe so far. No less than 14 out of the Top 50 GTPI females have been sold themselves, or are bred out of a dam which sold through one of the Eurogenes & DG sales, which is 28%! All. Nure Numero Uno Pepita is the current #1 GTPI Heifer in the European Top ranking with GTPI +2548. She sold as a 1st Choice female calf in the Holland Masters Sale 2012 in Zwolle and is currently owned by an international syndicate between Eclipse Holsteins (Australia), Cormdale (Canada), DG (NL), Muri (IT) and Al-Be-Ro (IT). Her mother is the former #1 GTPI cow Muri Planet Popsy VG-87-IT 2yr. out of a deep Italian cow family.

Dam to the #1 GTPI Heifer in Europe, sold through the Holland Masters Sale

The #3 and #5 GTPI heifers in this list were both sold through the most recent Eurogenes Summer Sale @ JK Eder Holsteins, held on May the 25th. The #3 GTPI heifer Tir-An N.U. Nyala (Owned by Rijnhof Holsteins and Diamond Genetics) combines this skyhigh GTPI index of GTPI +2541 with RZG 156 (04/13) and stems from the Veenhuizer Neblina cow family. The #5 in the list was bred by Nosbisch Holsteins, and is one of the highest heifers in the breed with a dtr proven sire stack. NH Massey Queengirl with GTPI +2502 is a dtr of Massey x Beacon x a deep Italian cow family. She is owned now by Diamond Genetics and Duindam Holsteins)

A great jump this run for Zandenburg Uno Hispanja. This Numero Uno dtr is the current #8 GTPI heifer in Europe with GTPI +2492 and owned by Zandenburg Holsteins. Her mother KNS High Tech bred by KNS Holsteins from Germany and sold through the Eurogenes Online Heifer Sale to Bouw Holsteins and as a pregnant heifer again in the Eurogenes Summer Sale to Roccafarm Holsteins in Belgium. She has one more dtr in the European Top 50 for GTPI, Go-Farm Hasisch. She is an outcross Mogul dtr out of her with over 2400 GTPI, combined with almost 3 points for type.

2 heifers in the Top 50 GTPI are going to be sold next week, in the Vente Drakkar 2013! The #10 GTPI heifer in the list, Evelina with GTPI +2470 is a Supersire dtr out of Nova Shottle Evelyn VG-87-USA 2yr.
Also DG Maria sells, which is a Supersire dtr from a VG-FR 2yr. Niagra from the famous Caps Mairy's! She has over 2400 GTPI and is also the #13 GLPI heifer in Europe!! Also the dam to the #2 GTPI Meridian in Europe, DG Lizzy have been sold through the Eurogenes Online Heifer Sale and will sell next week as a fresh cow in the Vente Drakkar, Ven Dairy Lidia 4 VG-FR 2yr. Sioux Mogul Nueva have been sold through the Eurogenes Summer Sale @ JK Eder Holsteins to Al-Be-Ro Holsteins in Italy and is the #1 GLPI heifer in Europe as well! She was bred by Kings-Court & Sioux Holsteins from the JK Eder Nueva cow family. Also NH Mogul Champ and LJ Uno Hoine have been sold through the Summer Sale to respectively B. Hayes (IE) and 't Gouden Kalf Syndicate (NL). Champ was bred by Nosbisch Holsteins and is the former #1 GTPI outcross heifer in Europe and a dtr from Bremer Active Charm from the USA. LJ Uno Hoine has still GTPI +2414 with over 3 points for type and has a great sire stack as a Numero Uno x Planet x Duplex!
