As part of the 2013 Holstein Celebration, Holstein South Wales are staging a silent auction of cattle and embryo package, in which BB Holsteins is offering a great pick of the well know British Ghost-family! During the 2006 Sterndale Sale, BB Holsteins purchased Riverdane Terrason Ghost EX-94-UK as a calf. She is straight from the great show cow Ridgefield Shottle Ghost EX-93-UK and has bred already 1x EX-93, 2x EX-92 and 3x VG daughters! The 18th of september during the Holsteins South Wales show is a great opportunity to bring the very best of the Ghost family to your herd with a pick out of this great family!
The next generation of the Ghost family is just as show stopping with the Damion so far producing 6 VG-2yrs to include a Sanchez VG86 and an Alexander VG86 (with a Misty Springs Smokin heifer calf). Out of the Baxter’s there are Superstition and Iota daughters and these are just to name a few.
There will be 4 generations of the ghosts on display at the Holstein South Wales Showcase on Wednesday 18th September at Carmarthen Show ground and if yours is the last bid you will be able to pick any Ghost with the BB prefix from the herd.
We urge you to take a look into this fantastic opportunity. The bidding concludes at the start of the Holstein UK AGM (the night of the showcase, Wednesday 18th September) and if you are unable to view on this day arrangements can be made with Bev Baker to see the animals on the farm prior.
