Molenkamp Grietje *RC VG-88-NL 2yr., the Destry-daughter owned by Molenkamp Holsteins won  the 2-Yr. Old Championship title during the Midsummer Dairy Show held last Friday. The home bred Grietje-family proved to be one of the most influential cow families for the Red & White breed. Grietje 107*RC VG-88 is the full sister to the high type bull Hyves at Masterrind and a full cousin to the #1 Red & White type bull of Germany, Kuyt Red (08/13 RZE +138). The Grashoek herd of the Engelen family had a great day too, winning the Reserve 2-Yr. Old Championship Title @ the Red & Whites with their Zabing-daughter Jipsing Bontje 39 and taking home the Sr. Reserve Championship title with Grashoek Nordika 5 (s. Colombo) who was the Grand Champion B&W of 2012.
