Successful 1st Spanish Masters Sale

The first Spanish Masters Sale, being held on Saturday the 28th, have been very successful. 17 out of the 19 lot numbers sold, the heifers were selling for an average price of € 7.307 to buyers out of Spain, Switzerland, The United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
Topseller was DG Caley for € 35.000, the highest price ever paid in a public auction on a Spanish Sale. The sale was very well attended with a huge crowd of Spanish and international visitors, including a big group of online viewers and bidders on Livedairyauction.com.


Topseller DG Caley is the #2 GTPI heifer of the European September ’13 run and is a beautiful Mogul dtr out of Larcrest Cale VG-88-USA 2yr., the current #3 GTPI Cow in the USA. Caley sold for € 35.000 to the Caley-syndicate with an Irish contending bidder through Livedairyauction.com

2nd highest price was paid for the beautiful show heifer Badiola Sid Kenda. She won 2 shows in 2013 already and is from the same family as the new Spanish National Intermediate Champion Badiola Damion Koketa. Sid Kenda purchased by Hood Holsteins from Denmark for € 12.000

J.M. Gutierrez Garcia from Spain is the new owner of the red Epic dtr De Volmer Epic Gold Red. This nice heifer has the VRC red gene and is a dtr of Morsan MOM Fools Gold Red VG-87-CAN 2yr.
